Exploration Structure
Exploration combines limited carried oxygen, reusable equipment, clues and a station whose unconnected areas shift after death. Deliberate room connections and selected completed work persist.
The proposed objective structure offers a concrete next goal and an understandable completion condition when the player needs orientation. The player can abandon or replace it during a trip, or explore without one. Leads can come from an unexplained record, a part left installed and wanted back, a person awaiting rescue, a colony capability, or an unvisited place. Completion is something observable: an object carried, a record captured, a person aboard or a mechanism working.
- Connecting the Station explains recognition, changing neighbours and permanent joins.
- Expedition Proposal compares repeated trips, shortcuts and the unselected carriage proposal.
- Regional Discovery Map maps the proposed expedition objectives and dependencies.
- Language and Journal explains how records help the player investigate familiar places after a shift.
Exact shifting rules and the consequence of connecting the entire station remain open.
